Nine Inch Nails 2009 concert video

Trent Reznor’s Art Director, Rob Sheridan, got some amazing concert video footage from onstage, up close and personal with the band, during the recent Australian leg of the Nine Inch Nails tour promoting The Slip. So far, three complete song performances and one candid backstage bit (when the power went out in the middle of a recent concert) have been posted on The clips are so great that this will probably lead to a DVD release (hint, hint, Trent). We’ve never seen Nine Inch Nails quite like this. The intimate camera work and superb audio mix make you feel like you’re right there in the middle of the actual performance, onstage with Trent Reznor and his band. If you’re into the music of Nine Inch Nails, you’ll know what I mean about how amazing a full-length concert DVD in this style would be. The Australian leg of the tour just wrapped up, and the final US leg starts on May 24, with Jane’s Addiction co-headlining. Trent says that this will be the last Nine Inch Nails tour for awhile, as the band is “going on hiatus.”
